INNE GORIS

The show has come out of research and exploration into the darker side of fairy tales. It's for 4 to 6 years old and is a piece that Crying Out Loud has co commissioned with help from The Moose Foundation that has developed out of our PIPs scheme (Performance In Progress).

In the past, Inne Goris has worked with Wim Vandekeybus and Thierry de Mey before setting up her own company Zeven.

This new work is a dance theatre / live art piece with dancer Samantha Van Wissen who also works with Rosas and Zoo Company. The show falls between ‘Live Art' and dance theatre and is without words. Lots of simple images that embody the essence of fairy tales; a large red apple descends from the roof, red shoes that flit about the stage, a white glossy princess dress that grows.

Initial Belgium tour in Winter/Spring 2008, touring the UK 2009.
