Welcome to Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe - UK Branch

Following some great presentations at Stratford Circus in February, the finalists of the Jeunes Talents Cirque event have been selected - the 10 artists are:

• ‘Petit Mal’ by Race Horse Company, Finland

• ‘Circuits Fermés’ by DeFracto, France

• ‘Losing Grip’ by Raquel Veganzones, Spain

• ‘Värinpuutostila’ by Sirkus Aikamoinen, Finland

• ‘I, Mistress and Wife’ by Nomaden vzw, Belgium

• ‘Bed’ by Frenetic Engineering (now Kecca Rocca), UK (image left, top)

• ‘Mosjoukine’ by Tsirihaka Harrivel, France

• ‘File-Tone’ by Subliminati Corporation, France

• ‘C8H11NO2’ by Positive Force, Croatia

• ‘My! Laïka’ by Zebraman, France

The selection process:

Applications were read by a panel of European partners then the chosen projects gave a presentation to a Jury on the 15 & 16th February 2010 at Stratford Circus. Following Europe-wide presentations up to 10 projects are chosen to receive financial support and guidance. The resulting work will be showcased in late August/early September 2010.
